brass push-on hose adapter has a National Pipe Thread Fuel (NPSM) male fitting and a barbed shank for connecting to hose. This fitting has multiple barbs to create a tight seal when used with a Lok-On (push-on style) hose. No hose clamps or ferrules are needed. This push-on hose adapter is made of brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. Brass can be connected to copper, brass, plastic, aluminum, and welded steel, and the relative softness of the brass threading when compared to other metals allows for a tight seal to resist leaks. This fitting is suitable for use in hydraulic and fuel transport applications.

Assembly Instructions:
>Cut hose cleanly and squarely to length.                                                                    
>Lubricate hose l.D. and barbs with light oil or soapy water.
>Push the hose onto the fitting until it bottoms against                                                                                                                                  
     the yellow stop ring. This ensures that all of the
     barbs are engaged with the hose and will also help                              
     keep the end of the hose from fraying.
